I Am Healed By the Grace Of God

“Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.”
~ Isaiah 58:8

Healing is the Children’s bread. If you are a child of God, you will be able to assess this great blessing from God.

From the time of creation, the word of God made us to understand that it is never the will of God for us to be sick in any way, God really designed our earth to be a healthy place, but after man fell in the Garden of Eden sickness came into the world, and from then till now we have to keep fighting it.

You do not need to be told, sickness is one of the major agent of death today. Think of the various plagues that have ravaged humanity, the diseases and epidemics that have claimed untold numbers of lives. All of these points to the fact that sickness is powerful and evil, and despite the advancements we have recorded in the area of medicine, we still do not have full answers to the problem of sickness.

God does not enjoy seeing His people sick, there is no glory that He can receive from there, that is why we must never accept sickness to be part of God’s will for our lives. He wants us to be full of life so that we can have what it takes to fulfill our destinies.

i am healed by the grace of god prayer

One of the primary reasons why Jesus has to come to the world was to destroy the power of sickness upon humanity. He did this by first destroying the power of sin, because it was through sin of disobedience that sickness entered into the world.

Before Jesus went to the cross, the bible recorded that He was beaten severely by the Romans soldiers whom Pontius Pilate handed Him over to. The beatings were not mere physical afflictions they stand for the sufferings and pains we are to suffer as a result of sickness. Jesus carried those pains so that we would not need to carry them ourselves.
He went further to also nail everything that was contrary to our lives, everything that God did not ordained for us which in one way or the other have found their ways into our lives, He nailed them to His cross triumphing over them, and really by the stripes of the beating He received from the soldiers we are healed.

This is the truth. If you have surrendered your life to Christ as your Lord and Savior you too can boldly say that by His stripes you are healed. The confession that you make with your mouth with faith in your heart is what God will honor in a situation like this. Remember that when Jesus was alive, He went about healing people. The power He was using then had been given unto us after He defeated the Devil on the cross.
No sickness is incurable as far as the victory we have in Christ is concerned, all you need to do is to believe in Him, the God of all flesh with whom there is no impossibility, declare His promises, and keep holding unto it, and you will see your desires coming to pass.

Father heal me of all sicknesses and diseases.
Make me to live in divine health where I will never be sick anymore.
Use me for the healing of others around me. AMEN.

the joy of the lord is your strength

The Joy Of The Lord Is Your Strength

a heart full of joy

The Kingdom of God

Righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost are the experiences of those who have genuinely surrendered their lives to Jesus. These three attributes characterizes the Kingdom of God, and it is only in the Kingdom that you can find them.

Joy at its fullest

Joy is the portion of a child of God; joy in the midst of trouble, trials, or persecution, joy that the world or even death cannot take away. This is a mystery that those outside the kingdom cannot understand; hence they see believers as extremists or fanatics.

In prison but full of joy

In Acts 16:25-26, Paul and Silas were locked up in the prison for preaching the gospel of Christ, but instead of them to be sad, sorrowful, and full of regret for what had befallen them, instead of them to be blaming God for allowing them to arrested when they were doing His work, they turn to the joy that was already in them.

Praise & worship

They sang, praised, and prayed to God, and God responded by shaking the prison to the foundation and setting all the prisoners free. What a great lesson the disciples tried to teach us here. The kind of joy and ability God had given to these disciples He gave to us too.

Give glory to God

You need to understand that God is not glorified when you bow down your head in sorrow. That will only give room for the devil to rejoice over you. Anyone that Jesus met weeping will always receive the response “weep not” from him, why? God is not glorified in such a situation.

How do we tap into the reservoir of joy that God had given unto us?

Understand the Will of God

We must have the understanding of the word. The understanding of the will of God for our lives is the key to His unending joy. A natural man will respond to times of pain with sorrow and sadness, but when you have the understanding that you are not in the will of God you will quickly change that.

Set your heart and mind on God

We must know how to focus on God. In difficult times, our ability to remember and focus on God will help us to quickly switch into the joy that God had given to us. David found himself in this type of situation in I Sam 30:1-6. The enemy took away all he had together with his family and that of his men too. To make the matter was, his men were so distressed that they wanted to stone him to death.
But David encouraged himself in the Lord, and he was able to recover all. We must know how to get encouraged in God’s promises, greatness, and power.

the joy of the lord is your strength

Be obedient and follow the Lord

Discover the joy of the Lord by living in total obedience to His word. Whenever you do something that God loves, like worshipping, praying, preaching the word, counseling others, studying the bible, giving etc. you will discover that the joy of heaven will fill your heart, because you are in tune with your maker. When you have the joy, you have strength to do all things.

Father God, thank You for the wisdom we learn through this post. Today, I pray, fill my life with your joy and peace. Teach me and lead me to do those things that can bring the joy of heaven to my life. Turn my sorrow to joy. AMEN.

today begin your journey with god

Today Begin Your Journey With God

There is no day like today to make a fresh start with God. Like the Israelites in the third chapter of the Book of Ezra, the day you choose to take your place to praise the Lord is a day for crying and shouting. You will be crying tears of joy and shouting shouts of praise when you realize that your life is so much better with God than it was without Him.

If you have never accepted Jesus as your Savior, today is a great day to do just that. All you have to do is recognize that without God you lived in sin. All people are naturally born into life as a sinner because every human falls short of the glory of God because of the sin nature that comes easily to the flesh. Next, you believe in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God, He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was beaten, and crucified on a cross; He died, was buried, and resurrected on the third day, and when you confess this aloud, you will be saved. When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and admit it to others, your journey with God has begun. (See Romans 10).

Reading the Word of God
After you have publicly confessed that Jesus is Lord of your life, it is time to get to know Him better. The four gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John tell you about the things that Jesus did while he was on this earth in a regular human body. I recommend that you begin your journey reading the gospel of John. John’s eyewitness account introduces Jesus as both fully God and fully human. The other gospels contain similar eyewitness stories to John’s account. They each saw the events and recorded them in their own words. This part of the Bible is helpful in learning about how to live the Christian life. One of the best parts of the journey with God is reading the Bible and getting to know about God. There is so much to learn that no matter how many times you read the Bible, you will always learn something new.

Spending Time in Prayer
Another awesome part of the journey of God is spending time with Him in prayer. You are invited into the throne room, and we are told in Hebrews 4:16 to “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

While you are in a quiet place, spending time in the presence of God, be sure to listen for His still small voice. God has information to share with you about your future and what He has in store for your life. He wants to have a relationship with you, and any good relationship is based on trust, faith in the other person, and that you know your partner has your best interest at heart.

God is faithful, trustworthy, and thinks highly of you and has only good plans for you. He wants to give you good gifts and take care of your every need. The more you get to know Him, the easier it will be to trust and have faith. That is why it is important to build your faith by reading the Word aloud and spending time in prayer to boost your faith. The way to get to know Him is to spend time with Him.

In Psalm 34:8 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV), Give the LORD a chance to show you how good he is. Great blessings belong to those who depend on him!

Let today be the day the first day of your journey. Launch out in faith and “taste and see that the Lord is good.”

Father God, I admit that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus is Your Son who died on the Cross for my sins and rose again. I confess it with my mouth and know I am saved because Your Word says it and you are not able to lie. Today, I want to change my life and start a new journey with you. I want to know you personally and walk close by your side. I ask you to strengthen my new faith and teach me your ways O Lord so that I can learn to walk blameless in your sight. I know I have a lot to learn, and today is the first day that I have taken a step out on faith to give my life to you. Thank you for saving my soul, and thank you for providing a way for me to have everlasting life. Thank you for teaching me how to live a joyful life and to walk with you. It is in the Mighty Name of Jesus’ I pray. Amen.

when you walk with god, there is peace, order, and joy

When You Walk With God, There is Peace, Order, and Joy

When you choose to walk with God, your steps are ordered by the Lord. You have joy that is unexplainable in the midst of any circumstances. When you are walking alone in your own strength, you have misery and sadness. When you are walking with God, you are walking in joy. And, there is peace that passes all understanding in our lives when God is at the center of our walk through the world. (See Philippians 4:7).

Peter walked with Jesus on the water in the midst of the storm (See Matthew 14:22-33). Most of the time, people focus on Peter sinking and the Lord catching him when they tell that story, but isn’t it amazing that for a little while, Peter, an ordinary fisherman with a big temper and big faith, walked on water like it was solid ground?

When we walk on faith with God, it is like walking on water. We don’t know where we are headed always because God is good at giving us just enough information to get us to step out in faith and believe. If we already knew what was going to happen, there would be no need for faith. And, walking with God is all about exercising your faith. We always are to walk by faith, focused on God whom we cannot see, instead of walking by sight and letting circumstances dictate where we walk (See 2 Corinthians 5:7).

In scripture, we are compared to sheep. Sheep have to stay close enough to the shepherd to hear his voice and follow in that direction. It is the same in our walk with God. We cannot see Him, but He is walking there with us when we take every concern, every decision, and every step we might take to Him in prayer and let him guide us. As we walk with Him, our paths will be lit by the Word of God (See Psalm 119:105) and our steps will each be in order on the straight and narrow path to life (See Psalm 37:23 and Matthew 7:14).

In Psalm 119:105, Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

The first step to walking with God is to read the Word every day. You cannot take a walk and physically see Jesus or Father God, but by faith you know that They are with You because the Word says He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:8). God actually goes before you and clears a path for you so that obstacles are removed before you get there.

Every one of us is on a journey, and every person’s journey is unique. You will cross paths with many people, and you will have divine appointments to meet certain people. God orders your steps day by da, and if you are paying attention, you will be on time every time for these appointments.

It is easy to be like Peter who started looking at the waves and begin to focus on the world around you. But, give yourself credit for taking a step out of the boat in faith. If you start to sink in doubt, remember, there was a good reason that you stepped out of the boat. Jesus was right there with you when you took that leap of faith, and He has not moved. You just forgot to keep looking at Him, and you can turn your eyes back on Him. You can have peace and joy in the midst of the crashing waves by continuing to focus on God.

How do you see Jesus to walk with Him?
You learn about God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit by reading the Word and meditating on it. Read it aloud often so that your ears hear it, and it will build your faith deep in your heart. Next, spend time in prayer. It is always good to talk to God, but do not get to be so vocal that you forget that prayer is a two-way conversation. Do not forget to sit and listen at the feet of Jesus. Most parks have benches for you to sit and rest while you walk. Do not forget to take a spiritual rest in your walk with Jesus. When you spend time with Him, it will refresh you and renew your energy for the day ahead. Listen for that still small voice to direct your path. Sometimes it is just a simple nudge. Get to know Him and follow the Shepherd’s voice down life’s path.

Set aside a time every day to listen to God and read His Word. He will speak to you personally and guide you to your final destination, His house.

Father God, It is with great pleasure that I come into the throne room to spend time with You. I am going to schedule a daily visit with You. I ask You to guide me on life’s path. I want to learn of you, and I want to walk with you daily. Lord, guide me and direct my steps. Help me to listen and follow your still small voice. I want to have a close relationship with you. You said in Your Word that You would give me the desires of my heart, and my heart’s desire is that I bear the fruit of the spirit as I walk with you. I ask all these things in the precious Name of Jesus. Amen.

believe that god provides all your needs

Believe That God Provides All Your Needs

God is able to provide everything that you need. There are scriptures throughout the Bible that demonstrate God’s faithfulness to His children. It is up to you to ask, believe, and receive the provision that God has in store for you. If you are lacking any good thing, you may have not because you ask not, or you ask amiss. You must always remember to talk to God and listen to God. God knows what your true needs are, and if you are walking in close fellowship with Him, He will send provision your way.

Jehovah Jireh
He supplied the children of Israel with manna. He supplied Elijah with a raven who delivered food. He supplied Gideon with an army. He supplied Hannah with a baby. He supplied healing to Naaman. He provided Joshua with more daylight to fight the battle when the sun stood still. And, he clothes the flowers, and feeds the birds. Not even a sparrow’s needs are overlooked. You can rest assured that God has your supply ready to be delivered because He loves you. Remember, He loved you enough to sacrifice His only begotten Son to cleanse you of your sins.

Have You Asked and Believed?
There is a key to getting your needs met. All of those who have received from God have asked God for help and believed without a doubt that God’s supply would arrive. You never know how God will deliver what you need, and there is no particular hour of the day that your supply will arrive at your house. But, you can trust that God will never be late, and He is always on time, even when in the natural, it appears that He is four days late.

Your faith gets placed under pressure when you look at your circumstances and see that you have lack in your life. You may lack a job, food, clothing, shoes, or finances to pay the rent or your vehicle loan payment. All of these things are important to God because they are important to you. He already knows that you have need of all these things, and He knows the best way to supply them to you. Most of the time, we hinder God’s plan by casting about in our minds and finding solutions to our problems ourselves and telling God how to fix it. When we stop telling Him how to supply the need and start praising Him for supplying it in whatever way He wants to supply it, you will begin to see answers to your prayers.

Recognize Your Source
If you find yourself finding your supply and telling God who has the means to provide the thing you are needing, then you need to check yourself and put a stop to that behavior. Your ultimate source is God, not the man at the grocery store and not the man at the bank. You have to take your eyes off men and put them totally on God, and then, you will see the answer arrive right on time.

Also, remember that you are not serving God to receive stuff. If God gave you nothing else but salvation for your soul that would be more than enough to praise Him for while you are alive on this earth. But, God is a father who desires to take care of you and provide not only just the bare minimum of what you need, and he desires to supply you with an abundance of blessings.

Meditate on the Word and seek the kingdom of God first, and all the things that you need in your life will be supplied abundantly.

As any parent will tell you, there are times that you just must say no to what a child thinks he really needs. You may think that you needed that particular job because it was in your field and would get you to a place of financial solvency, but God may have had a reason for saying no to giving you that job. He will have a better job for you in His timing.

Praise God before You See the Answer
When you talk about your situation, be sure to speak words of faith over your life. Stop talking about what you don’t have, and start talking about what God is doing in your life. He is working on it even when you can’t see it.

If you need a job, start praising the Lord for getting you hired. If you need groceries in the pantry, start praising God for the groceries that are going to nourish your body and the bodies of your family members.

When you begin to doubt, start speaking the Word over your life. The key scripture for encouraging your faith is found in the book of Philippians, chapter four.

In Philippians 4:19, But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

When you begin to think thoughts about your need never being met, take those thoughts captive, and cast those thoughts out in the Name of Jesus. Make an effort to think only thoughts that agree with God’s Word. When you reject the thoughts of lack in your life, replace that thought with Philippians 4:19. No matter what you are in need of: whether it is a physical need, a spiritual need, an emotional need, or a financial need, this verse covers each need no matter how big or how small. No matter how loud the circumstances are screaming at you and telling you that it will never happen and you are always going to experience lack in your life, God has the answer. Hold fast to your faith, do not be discouraged, and do not doubt. Fully trust that God will help you just in the nick of time.

Father God, I boldly come into the throne room with lack in my life. You see the needs that I have. You see that I need (list your need here.) I know that you have the answer. You have riches and nothing is impossible with you. You are my source for everything. I fully trust you to supply my need right on time. I will not worry, and I will not doubt. I will praise You in advance for providing it for me. Thank you, Father for looking out for me and for ordering my steps. I thank you again for saving my soul and forgiving me of my sins. It is in Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.

Believe that God Blesses You Today

It is easy to see in the Old Testament that the Lord God blesses His people.

Remember, He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

If you believe that He blessed Abram and changed his name to Abraham way back in Genesis, then you can believe that He will bless you today also.

The only requirements are that you believe that Jesus is your Savior and Lord of your life and that you only have faith to believe. And, we have all been given the measure of faith. That means that inside you is the faith that it takes to believe that God has good things in store for your life. Jesus taught that faith as small as a grain of mustard seed can make things happen and bring God’s plan to be in your life.

But, there is one person that can stop God’s blessing in your life, and that is you. God cannot bless you without you believing and agreeing that He can. In addition, you must be obedient to God and follow His path. If you do this, then goodness, mercy, and blessings will be given to you.

In Romans 12:3, For I say, through the grace given to me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith.

In Matthew 17:20, And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

God’s plan has always been to bless His people. He began speaking with Abram about the blessing plan in Genesis 12:2.

In Genesis 12:2 (KJV), And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing.

In Genesis Chapter 13, Abram had already been blessed with great wealth as it says in verse 2, “Abram had become very wealthy in livestock and in silver and gold.”

And, with all of the possessions that he already had, God gave Abram another promise in Genesis Chapter 13:14-17.
The LORD said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, “Look around from where you are, to the north and south, to the east and west. All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever. I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust, then your offspring could be counted. Go, walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you.”

At that time, Abram had no children with his wife Sarai, but God changed his name to Abraham, the father of many nations.

This change is recorded in Genesis 17:5. They waited many years for their son to be born, but the promise was fulfilled because Abraham had faith in God and believed that God would honor his promise.

Once we accepted Jesus as Lord, then you and I are able to access the same blessing that Abraham was promised.

We are to be blessed so that we can bless others.

Galatians 3:14 tells us that we are blessed with the same blessing. So, you can believe that God still blesses His children today, and the moment you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior by confessing your sins and confessing Him as Lord, you stepped into your place as a member of the Royal Family and blessing can be yours.

In Galatians 3:14, And because of what Jesus Christ has done, the blessing that was promised to Abraham was taken to the Gentiles. This happened so that by faith we would be given the promised Holy Spirit.

Today, let us all believe that as God blessed his people before us, He will also bless all His children now, tomorrow, and all the days of our lives.

Father God, I bow before You this day to accept my place as Your child, a joint heir with Jesus. I worship You and know that You are the magnificent God who created the heavens and the earth. And, just as you walked with Abram, changed his name to Abraham, and made him the father of many nations, I believe that you are well able to bless me and my family so that I can be a blessing to others. I ask You to speak to my heart and tell me the plans and blessings that you have for me so that I can hide Your promises to me in my heart and believe. I thank you for taking care of my every need and blessing me with an abundant life on earth. It is in the precious name of Jesus that I pray. Amen.

Thank You Lord
